Panera Bread inspired chocolate chip cookies are here. I’m a huge fan of those big cookies from Panera Bread. Well, I can’t always drive there to grab cookies with my little one now. So I decided to make my own version of chocolate chunk cookies.
Giant Chocolate Chunk Cookies
Huge crispy and chewy chocolate chunk cookies!
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp baking soda
- 1 1/4 cup flour
- 1/2 cup chocolate chunk chopped
Instructions
- Melt the butter in a microwave safe bowl. Mix in the sugar and mix well using a spatula.
- Add an egg and vanilla extract. Mix in salt, baking powder, and baking soda.
- Fold in flour until no lump remains. Add in chopped chocolate chunks at the end.
- Scoop cookie dough on to the pan and bake for 10-13 minutes in the 350F degree oven.
Notes
I use OXO brand’s ice cream scoop to scoop the cookie dough.
