Buttery soft pound cake with sweet crunchy streusel on top!
Ingredients
Pound Cake
- 3/4 cup 95g all purpose flour
- 3/4 cup 95g cake flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup 113g unsalted butter, room temperature
- 3/4 cup 150g granulated sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 3 eggs room temperature
- 1/2 cup 114g sour cream
Streusel
- 1/4 cup 50g brown sugar, packed
- 1/2 cup 62g flour
- 1 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 3 tbsp unsalted butter cold, cubed
Instructions
- In a bowl, sift together the dry ingredients–all purpose flour, cake flour, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.
- In a different bowl, cream the butter and sugar together. Beat in the eggs and vanilla extract. Fold in the sifted dry ingredients and sour cream to the batter.
- Make the streusel: mix all the ingredients together using a fork.
- Pour the batter in the loaf pan and top with streusel mixture. Bake at 350°F for about 50 minutes.
