I love making cupcakes- chocolate, vanilla, vanilla with a surprise chocolate candy inside, etc. I’m known for my cupcakes among my friends and family. But this is my new butter cream recipe that involves FRESH strawberries. And let me tell you, it’s AMAZING. It’s sweet but freshness of the strawberry just enhances the flavor so much.
Strawberry Butter Cream
Beautiful pink butter cream recipe using fresh strawberries.
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup Butter room temperature
- Pinch of Salt
- 2 cups Icing Sugar
- 1/3 cup Strawberry pureed*
Instructions
- Pureed the strawberries using a blender.
- Whip the butter for 5 minutes until it turns white and fluffy.
- Add in pinch of salt. Then slowly add icing sugar quarter cup at a time.
- Add pureed strawberry little by little looking at the consistency and color of the butter cream icing.
